About Who Decides
Who Decides will bring labor, parents, educators, civil-rights groups and other trusted organizations together around a common AI safety agenda for Democrats. Right now, a few executives inside a handful of companies are making all the decisions as AI reshapes entire industries, education, communities, and safety, and as the most powerful models grow beyond our ability to control them. The public has virtually no say, and neither political party has staked out a comprehensive agenda. Who Decides exists to make sure Democrats do, by building the coalitions needed to win elections on AI safety and govern AI so that the public sets the rules for the technology.

They will oversee social media, the website, and any email program(s) from Who Decides. This roll will work closely with a Communications consultant and support press and media outreach efforts, including pitching reporters, securing media placements, and maintaining strong relationships with members of the press. The ideal candidate should be able to work across polling, policy research, and political expertise to craft clear and compelling messaging that is easy to digest for an everyday audience.
