Susan Crawford for Wisconsin is looking for highly motivated individuals who will work 15-20 hours per week, in-person, during the spring of 2025. This internship is an excellent opportunity for those interested in learning more about the inner workings of communications on a statewide political campaign organization. Fighting to retain a pro-democracy majority on the court in one of the most important races of 2025, this campaign will have both statewide and national implications.
Responsibilities
Work with the communication and research teams and help maintain press lists and distribute materials
Compile daily news clips and monitor news coverage
Assist with drafting written materials for internal and external use, including talking points, press releases, statements, and memos
Other responsibilities as assigned by Deputy Press Secretary.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Interest in learning more about campaign communications, research, and more
Ability to handle confidential matters and information
Cultural Competency – able to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues, voters, and volunteers who identify as BIPOC and across lines of difference
