JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:

DPNM is seeking Congressional District Organizers to help drive our organizing efforts in each congressional district. Each organizer will be paired with a Congressional District Research Intern and will work closely with our NTWA Voter Outreach, Community Engagement, and Grassroots Communications Teams.

 

This role is crucial in recruiting and managing volunteers, executing voter engagement strategies, and ensuring that key organizing metrics are met. Congressional District Organizers will play a pivotal role in building relationships within their assigned district, mobilizing grassroots support, and amplifying the voices of communities most impacted by policy decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Volunteer Recruitment & Management:

  • Recruit, train, and manage NTWA Voter Outreach, Community Engagement, and Grassroots Communications team members.

  • Develop and implement strategies to expand volunteer participation and engagement.

  • Voter & Community Outreach:

  • Conduct voter surveys to gather critical data and insights.

  • Lead community engagement efforts, ensuring direct connections with local stakeholders.

  • Work with volunteers to conduct outreach and build meaningful relationships with voters.

  • Legislative Advocacy & Grassroots Communications:

  • Work with grassroots volunteers to identify and elevate impactful stories.

  • Engage in legislative outreach and secure co-signers for key policy initiatives.

  • Assist in amplifying community-driven messaging through various platforms.

  • Data & Metrics Accountability:

  • Track and report progress on key performance indicators, including:

  • Voter survey responses

  • Community survey responses

  • Legislative co-signers

  • Ensure all outreach and engagement activities align with DPNM’s strategic goals.
