Job Title: Field Organizer
Location: Evanston, Illinois
Commitment: Full-time, through March 17, 2026 (Primary Election Day) ASAP!
About the Campaign:
Our campaign is working to elect a Democrat who will fight for progressive values and deliver results for Illinois families. We’re building a grassroots, volunteer-driven organization to connect directly with voters across the district and win the March 17th Democratic primary.
Position Overview:
Field Organizers are the heart of our grassroots campaign. They will recruit, train, and manage volunteers to talk to voters, knock doors, make phone calls, and turn out supporters on Election Day. Organizers will report to the Field Director and work closely with other team members to meet weekly goals and build strong neighborhood-based volunteer teams.
Key Responsibilities:
● Recruit, train, and retain volunteers for canvassing, phone banking, and voter outreach.
● Manage daily voter contact efforts using campaign tools and data systems (e.g., VAN).
● Track progress and report metrics to the Field Director.
● Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and local organizations.
● Lead and support Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts before the March 17th primary.
Qualifications:
● Strong commitment to Democratic Party values and winning the March 17th primary.
● Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
● Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
● Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the district.
● Previous campaign or organizing experience is a plus but not required.
Compensation:
Competitive weekly salary commensurate with experience. $4000/monthly +
