We are seeking a Frontend contractor. This position is temporary.
Responsibilities:
Design and build frontends, internal and external
Partner with Mintt product and engineering staff to make key architectural decisions about our products
Write exactly as much clean, readable, and maintainable code as necessary
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience on a software engineering team building front ends for customers (internal or external)
3-5 years of experience with JavaScript and its ecosystem
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React
Experience working in a modern cloud environment – likely AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Comfort with a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environment
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Highly qualified candidates will have one or more of these attributes:
Experience in an early-stage startup or other fast-moving environments
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as FusionCharts or Plotly
Familiarity with the design language of either CRMs or other civic engagement tools
This is a temporary contractor position. You must be authorized to work in the United States. Compensation will be between $75-$150 per hour, for up to 20 hours per week.
The target start date for this position is early or mid-April. The evaluation will consist of an interview and a portfolio/work product review.
