We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Analyst/Data Director to join Devon's dynamic campaign team, aiming for victories in both the McKenzie School District #68 School Board and the Lane Education Service District Board of Directors in Lane County, OR. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our campaign strategies through insightful data analysis and voter targeting. Your expertise will guide our decision-making processes, optimize our outreach efforts, and significantly contribute to our goal of winning both elections with at least 60% of the vote.

Develop and manage comprehensive databases of voter information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Analyze voter data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, providing actionable insights for targeted campaign strategies.
Work closely with the field director and digital director to optimize outreach and engagement efforts.
Design and execute polls and surveys, analyzing results for strategic planning.
Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance, voter demographics, and engagement metrics.
Collaborate with the communications team to tailor messages based on data-driven insights.
Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines related to campaign data management.
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Political Science, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred. A degree will not be necessary if you have the relevant experience.
Proven experience in data analysis or data management, preferably in a political campaign setting.
Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL) and database management systems.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
Experience with voter targeting software and CRM platforms is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
