Program Overview

Our ground-breaking 2024 Paid Relational Organizing Hub program will touch up to 8 million people and generate up to 15 million conversations across 10 states: AZ, GA, WI, MI, MT, MN, NV, NC, OH and PA.

These statewide programs will:

  • Initiate relational conversations with hundreds of thousands of people.

  • Build a rapid-response network of trusted messengers to fight back against disinformation

  • Aim to generate thousands of new voters in each state for the upcoming election.

 

Job Description

The ** Data & Operations Assistants** will work closely with the Data Team to assist Community Mobilizers in troubleshooting their payment issues.

The Data & Operations Assistants will be part of the Data teams. This position is an opportunity to play a crucial data role in a groundbreaking program that aims to scale to 10 states in 2024.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assisting with payment data management and the execution and analysis of analytics strategies to raise awareness of the program 

  • Working on all data and analytics projects

  • Collaborating with team members, other departments, and external partners as needed to ensure data processes are completed effectively and efficiently

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payment issues to tag issues, resolve, and/or escalate them.

  • Assisting the data director and program leadership with other activities 

Qualifications Desired:

  • Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously manage and review operations payroll and support ticket data and processes to ensure accuracy in payment and staff documentation.

  • Problem-solving Skills: Capacity to dig through data, address and resolve payment discrepancies and operational issues promptly and efficiently.

  • Experience in Payment Processing Systems: Familiarity with CRM financial or support ticketing systems; experience with specific platforms like ZohoDesk, Venmo, CashApp, or Gusto is a bonus.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Proficiency in clearly communicating with team members and mobilizers, especially in resolving payment queries and providing operational support.

  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing operational needs and workload, particularly in shifting focus from onboarding activities to complex payment-related issues as the campaign progresses.

Additional Considerations:

  • Experience with spreadsheets is highly valued.

  • Some Tech Support experience is preferred.

  • Existing relationships in one of the ten states or are fluent in a second language, including Spanish. 

Compensation

This is a full-time, remote, salaried position, lasting through November 22, 2024.

 

The work schedule is six days per week with Fridays off. Operations Assistants will work Sunday - Thursdays 10am - 7pm Eastern. Saturdays are a shortened schedule, ending at 5pm Eastern.

 

We will also work the full week before the November election. 

The salary for this position is $4,750/month plus healthcare benefits and 2 paid sick days.
