North Carolina Voter Project is a non-partisan, progressive 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to changing the face of North Carolina’s electorate by registering and turning out new voters. NCVP specializes in new and innovative strategies to register and engage new voters and build lasting change. Our organization is different: we are willing to experiment to find the most productive and efficient way to expand the electorate, and we foster
long-term growth that does not boom and bust with each election cycle.
The ** Data Director** will manage the 2024 North Carolina Voter Project’s data program, and support all data systems and mechanisms for identifying causation. We will build our targets and approach with data-supported traits, so this is a data-driven position from floor to ceiling. This position will work to explore and prove new ways to more effectively support voter registration and Get-Out-the-Vote (GOTV) efforts at a lower cost and/or higher impact. This senior-level position will work closely with vendors and board committee members to implement programming that develops results faster. The director must utilize visual aids and key and factual points to communicate the data clearly. This may require communication with the local board of elections. This role will play a critical part in key elections in North Carolina this cycle. The Data Director will report to the Executive Director and work closely with the Deputy Director/ Field Team in implementing targets and analyzing results. They also may work closely with elected officials and table partners. Candidates are required to live in North Carolina.
This full-time, paid senior-level position (expires January 1, 2025, with the possibility of renewal) will work remotely and will be expected to train and review in person at times.
