Overview
There are over 80 colleges and universities in the state of Michigan, with nearly half a million students. Founded in 2024, For Michigan organizes students across the state to turn out in critical statewide elections. With reach at over 40 campuses in 2024, we proved that when we organize on campuses, students vote. Our work broke turnout records in campus precincts, with more votes cast than in 2020, 2016, or 2012.
Building on statewide programs in 2024 and 2025, For Michigan is preparing for a robust, statewide campus mobilization program in 2026. We are investing in full-time organizers, paid student fellows, and data-driven strategies to mobilize students through voter registration, education, and turnout.
