Job Description:
The Data Processing Lead is responsible for executing on the technical processes that power our polling business. Tasks will include, but may not be limited to:
Querying lists to produce counts
Matching and appending data elements across various data sets
Pulling random samples
Cleaning, transforming, re-coding, and standardizing survey data
Conducting quality control on data collection vendors
Spotting data problems and solving them
Weighting survey data
Producing frequency and cross-tabulation reports on survey data
Integrating raw survey data into a proprietary reporting system and online platform
Serving as a technical resource to client-facing principals and analysts
Making efficiency improvements to data processing systems
Qualifications:
Mastery of Microsoft Excel
Experience using SPSS, R, STATA, and/or other statistical analysis software, strong preference for candidates with significant SPSS experience
Familiarity with survey research
An understanding of databases and data structure
A demonstrated ability to solve problems in a professional setting and fastidious attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a remote work environment
A team-player attitude
