Department: Digital Reports To: Digital Director
The Deputy Digital Director will be the day-to-day operator keeping the campaign’s digital channels running — social media, website, content scheduling, and support on digital ad execution. This is a good fit for someone with a cycle under their belt who wants more ownership and a clear path to a director role.
Responsibilities
Support the Digital Director in day-to-day management of the campaign’s digital channels, including social media, website, and email.
Manage the campaign’s social media accounts, including content scheduling, community management, and audience engagement.
Coordinate content production across platforms, ensuring timely publication aligned with the campaign calendar.
Assist with digital advertising execution, including creative trafficking, reporting, and optimization.
Manage the campaign website, ensuring content is current, accessible, and optimized for conversion.
Support the Digital Director in reporting on digital program metrics and performance.
Experience & Qualifications
At least one cycle of digital campaign experience or equivalent experience in digital communications.
Proficiency with social media management tools and content management systems.
Strong writing and editing skills with experience producing content for political or advocacy audiences.
Experience with basic graphic design or video editing tools preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
What Success Looks Like
Success for the Deputy Digital Director is measured by the consistency and quality of the campaign’s social media presence and engagement, website performance, and the effective execution of day-to-day digital operations in support of the broader digital strategy.
Compensation: $65,000
