Alaskans for Mary is seeking an experienced deputy digital fundraising director to join our digital team in Anchorage, Alaska. This position will report to and work with the Digital Director to develop and oversee the online fundraising program. This position will collaborate with vendors, partners, and other campaign departments to manage day-to-day online fundraising and identify new fundraising strategies to improve the program’s overall performance.
Responsibilities:
Work with multiple vendors to manage day-to-day online fundraising, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent reporting of digital fundraising and projections.
Identify new and creative fundraising strategies to boost the campaign’s fundraising performance on email, texting, ads, social media, and other channels.
Work with our digital partners to maintain consistent split fundraising opportunities.
Track metrics regularly to make data-driven recommendations and adjustments.
Track the merch store and identify strategies to increase profitability.
Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
1-2+ cycles of experience doing digital for a political campaign, agency, non-profit, elected official, or other organization.
Strong writing skills and experience drafting on-message and on-brand fundraising copy for social media, email, and/or SMS – ideally on behalf of another principal.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well under pressure and on several projects.
Experience with ActBlue and CRMs like ActionKit and/or NGP.
A strong understanding of effective and emerging digital trends.
Attention to detail, data-driven, and a willingness to try new things.
