We are seeking a Deputy Director of California State and National Development. The successful candidate should have deep political skills, including political experience in state legislature or federal government, on Democratic political campaigns, and/or equivalent activities, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks successfully.
Responsibilities
Manage relationships with key elected leaders, donors and community groups at the state and national levels
Analyze local political trends, internal assessments of campaigns, perform the necessary research and present to key stakeholders
Stay current on events and trends to identify potential risks and develop solutions
Support buildout events in support of state and national clients of the firm
Research potential donors to gain insight into priorities to better understand how to position our clients
Highly detailed organization of project tracking, target lists and client lists
Perform other activities as assigned by the executive leadership team
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years in communications, policy, politics or like experience
Bachelors degree required
The ideal candidate has worked on state or local campaigns
Remote or California based
