DEPUTY FINANCE DIRECTOR

In office: 5 days a week
Compensation: $65,000-$85,000 (Commensurate with experience)
Anticipated Start Date: January 2025
Searching for applicants with at least one cycle of Deputy Finance Director or two cycles of
Finance Assistant/ intern experience for a highly competitive, $15m federal campaign. This
role will be for two years, 2025 and 2026, with significant room for leadership and career
growth and the potential to extend past 2026.
Applicant should be highly organized, ambitious, open to constructive feedback, and
interested in working on a campaign that will foster growth and leadership and help with
their career trajectory.
Applicant will interface with elected principals, tech and business executives, and major
Democratic supporters.
Roles and responsibilities include:
• Work with the Finance Director and Chief Strategist to develop, plan, and execute
grassroots and high-dollar fundraising events and coordinate logistics for raising
across the country.
• Help build and manage finance projections; track and adjust fundraising goals per
donor source.
• Maintain regular communication with donors, groups, and other political
stakeholders emphasizing responsiveness to nurture all campaign relationships.
• Oversee the donor research program and expand the campaign’s donor base.
• Conduct research on current and potential donors and conduct accurate and timely
donor follow-up and acknowledgement.
• Help oversee the Call Time program.
• Help manage Finance Assistant(s) and interns.
• Manage goals, logistics, and staffing for fundraising events and donor meetings.
• Manage data entry process through NGP and in coordination with our other
database systems.

Qualifications include:
• Applicant must have at least one cycle as a Deputy Finance Director or two cycles
as a Finance Assistant or Finance Intern.
• Strong knowledge of NGP, ActBlue, and Google Drive
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to interact with diverse populations
• A valid US driver’s license and access to reliable, insured transportation.
