Deb for New Mexico is seeking a hardworking, passionate, highly-organized fundraiser capable of showing leadership and strong management skills in a fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the Finance Director and is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work with the Finance Director to develop and execute the finance plan
Directly manage assistant-level and intern-level finance staff
Develop and execute strategic donor research and prospecting for call time, meetings, and events
Collaborate with the Finance Director in setting the campaign’s fundraising calendar
Staff the candidate for meetings, events, and call time as needed
Plan, build and execute fundraising events for the campaign – facilitating outreach, communicating with hosts, staffing, and preparing briefings and other materials
Track and execute required follow up from call time, meetings, events, emails, and more
Additional Responsibilities
Complete other fundraising tasks as assigned by the Finance Director
Assist the candidate and larger team in staffing and other needs as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of two cycles of fundraising experience
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage several projects in a fast-paced environment and be responsive to timely needs, including from the principal
Proficiency in G-Suite, NGP, ActBlue, and familiarity call time software (e.g. Numero)
Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends as required
Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
