As a Deputy GOTV Director, you will report to the GOTV Director and be responsible for flawlessly implementing the GOTV plan across the state and coordinating across departments, in close partnership with the GOTV Director and Organizing Managers, to mobilize voters in 2024 to elect Democrats up and down the ticket.
Responsibilities
Track and manage staging location and office preparedness for GOTV across the state
Work with the GOTV Director and cross-departmentally to ensure that all departments are aligned around GOTV goals, Direct Voter Contact efforts, and program needs
Assist the GOTV Director in planning logistics with the Operations team to ensure we have the resources prepared and necessary to win
Monitor and respond to all GOTV-related needs within the campaign
Prepare and execute necessary GOTV programs, including packet production
Adhere to stated deadlines and keep regional teams focused and motivated in a high-stress, rigorous work schedule and environment
Maintain proactive and effective communication with colleagues and state leadership
Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by the GOTV Director
Qualifications
Management Skills - Able to manage relationships within your team, bring out the best in your employees, and treat employees equitably across lines of difference; including but not limited to feedback, performance, and engagement
Excellent interpersonal and communication Skills including the ability to connect with others, motivate & quickly gain trust with volunteers, staff, and coalition partners, including across lines of difference
Strong operational experience, including logistics, process and people coordination, project management, and program management
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure work environment and adapt to changing needs and program priorities
Willingness to work extensive, long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends
Goal-oriented and self-disciplined mindset; able to meet tight deadlines and multitask; willingness to hold oneself accountable; ability to problem solve effectively and creatively
Strong commitment to Democratic politics and ideals, and enthusiasm for electing Kamala Harris and TIm Walz, and Democrats up and down the ballot
Previous Organizing Experience - Demonstrated ability to manage a large and diverse organizing team to achieve high goals in high-pressure, rapidly changing circumstances, such as Get Out the Vote
Familiarity with or willingness to learn campaign technology including Google Sheets and Votebuilder
Access to reliable transportation and a willingness to travel frequently

This position is based in-person in Georgia with compensation of $6,500/month including benefits and mileage reimbursement. At this time, the campaign is not able to provide supporter housing or relocation expenses.
