Role Overview:
The Development & Partnerships Manager will play a pivotal role in our business development strategy, spearheading efforts to secure donors for Multihouse’s non-profit clients and sponsors for high-profile Multihouse projects, including but not limited to MultiCon and original podcasts. Additionally, you will be tasked with securing clients for our extensive work with non-profits and impact partners, as well as managing strategic partnerships that enhance our portfolio. This hands-on, results-driven role requires a natural ability to connect people and ideas to opportunities, with a focus on cultivating long-term relationships and delivering impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead business development initiatives, targeting sponsors for major Multihouse projects across film, television, podcasts, and digital media.
Cultivate and secure new partnerships with both for-profit and non-profit organizations, focusing on cross-industry collaborations and impactful projects.
Coordinating fundraising and capital campaigns for clients.
Develop and manage relationships with donors and impact partners, ensuring alignment with Multihouse’s mission and goals.
Manage a pipeline and CRM of leads, creating a clear strategy for client outreach and partner engagement.
Manage a pipeline and CRM of donors and potential donors for our nonprofit clients, conducting consistent donor outreach on behalf of our clients.
Provide support and coordinate client fundraisers and events.
Represent Multihouse at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand our reach and strengthen our presence across industries.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure business development efforts align with the company’s creative vision and strategic objectives.
Leverage your network and expertise to create opportunities that bridge the gap between the entertainment, digital, and social impact sectors.
Ensure all partnerships, whether with sponsors or impact partners, are strategically aligned with Multihouse’s values and long-term vision.
Qualities & Experience:
At least 6 years of experience in sales, fundraising, or business development, ideally within entertainment, non-profits, or a related industry.
Proven success in developing strategic partnerships and securing high-value sponsors/donors.
A natural "people-person" with excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
Confident on the phone and in person, with a proactive, hands-on approach to closing deals and securing partnerships.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients, partners, and donors effectively.
A results-oriented mindset with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with non-profit or social impact-driven partnerships is a plus.
Comfortable working across industries, including entertainment, non-profits, and digital media.
Must be willing to become a CFRE.
Experience using fundraising and CRM software is required (Classy/GoFundMePro, RaiseDonors, CyberGrants, Virtuous, etc).
Experience using task management software such as Monday.com and basic design software (Canva) is preferred.
