ABOUT US

You love working on a close-knit team while managing projects autonomously. You bring heart and dedication to the work, with a drive to uplift the next generation of breakthrough Democratic leaders. The ideal candidate has experience in Democratic campaigns, electoral politics and/or related non-profit work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strengthen our outreach to prospective donors & expand our circles of support:

  • Partner with Executive Director, COO, and Director of Giving to identify new donor prospects — via Numero, Donor Atlas, Substack — and develop weekly tiered outreach plans.

  • Lead and manage call time for Executive Director and other members of our leadership team and board, from list building to follow up to data input.

  • Play integral role in developing and implementing new grassroots digital communications and fundraising program to increase small-dollar contributions and broaden our donor base.

  • Collaborate with team to develop fundraising communications, including newsletter series and social media content.

  • Help build out our annual peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns.

  • Develop creative, compelling ideas to activate donors at key political moments in time.

Set and track progress to goals over time:

  • Work with leadership to set fundraising goals and help develop plans to meet those goals.

  • Make sure all donor data — outreach, cultivation, and movement — is tracked in real time.

  • Analyze fundraising data to inform future strategy.

Set and track progress to goals over time:

  • Help prepare for and follow up on virtual and in-person fundraising events, including creation of guest lists, invitations, landing pages, donation links, template messages, and more.

  • Other duties as needed that align with organizational mission.
