The Rural West Project represents a multi-cycle, multi-modal series of programmatic investments in center-left power building across small-population states in the rural mountain west. It is predicated on the observation that the rural-urban divide has pro-Democracy advocates facing a generational minority in the US Senate and other key institutions. It is therefore a question of when not if Democracy proponents must collectively care about building power in rural states. The Rural West Project resources in-state leaders to develop ** multi-modal**,** multi-cycle plans** that link** talent** development, big-tent** coalition** formation, and** disruption** of local election systems and electoral narratives.
