Montanans for Tester is looking for a Digital Assistant for the 2024 election cycle. This person will help communicate Senator Tester’s message through online platforms. This person is a team player, ready and willing to collaborate across departments to help reelect the Senate’s only working dirt farmer.
**Location: **This person will be expected to relocate to Billings, Montana ASAP
Reports to: Digital Director | Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis
Responsibilities:
• Assist in all aspects of the campaign’s digital program, including writing social media and fundraising copy
• Produce volunteer newsletters to engage the campaign’s online supporters
• Track and analyze metrics to make data-driven decisions based on results
• Develop rapid response content and strategy to amplify campaign’s overall goals
• Draft social media toolkits for supporters
• Organize campaign assets
• Other duties as assigned within the digital department
Qualifications:
• 0-2 years of experience assisting with digital programs for a candidate, organization,
or brand (internships count); campaign experience is a plus but not required
• Proficient skills in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and/or other analytical tools.
• Eagerness to learn new platforms
• Experience writing content that drives action and maintains a consistent voice
• Be highly creative and ready to tell stories in a unique way
• Strong attention to detail with ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
Compensation: $4,500/month
