Dan Osborn for U.S. Senate is hiring a Digital Associate to support the digital team for the duration of the 2026 election cycle in one of the most closely-watched Senate races in the country. This is a generalist, entry-level role within the digital team, ideal for someone highly organized who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn the mechanics of campaign digital strategy. The applicant must be willing to take on other duties as assigned as the campaign's needs evolve. This position reports to the Digital Director.
Responsibilities will include:
Editing short and long form political content (town halls, news appearances, long-form original videos)
Writing scripts for long-form political content
Videography for campaign events and original videos
Conceptualizing and designing original graphics
Drafting and producing engaging, on-message copy across digital channels, including email, SMS, social media, website, and more
Drafting, producing, and proofreading rapid response content in real time
Routinely updating internal reports and analyzing data sets to track list behaviors, identify growth areas, and support data-driven decision-making
Assisting with website maintenance, mobilization efforts, and digital organizing as needed
Taking on additional duties across the digital and video team as the campaign evolves.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail, high levels of organization, and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
A willingness to work as part of a team and take direction across a generalist role.
Exceptional writing and proofreading skills, with strong attention to grammar and punctuation.
Proficiency with video editing and graphic design. Proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, & Illustrator a must
Videography experience
Experience with campaigns or other political work is a plus, but not required.
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Nebraska that will end when the campaign concludes in November 2026. A hybrid schedule of at least three days a week in-office is expected, and travel throughout the state on short notice may be required. Campaign hours are expected of any successful candidate.
This is a salaried position that will be compensated at $4,000 per month. This position comes with benefits, including dental, vision, and health insurance. Moving expenses will be reimbursed for candidates from outside of Nebraska.
