JOB DESCRIPTION

Liftoff is seeking a talented Digital Associate to join a new and growing team.

 

Liftoff is a new digital fundraising and communications firm. Our clients are statewide and local political campaigns, advocates, non-profits, and changemaking companies working to advance Democratic priorities.

 

Our ideal candidate has a track record of working collaboratively with colleagues, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize time to meet deadlines for multiple projects. We value individuals who are comfortable admitting what they don’t know, are excited to learn new skills, and who work hard to overcome obstacles.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieving clients’ fundraising and engagement goals;

  • Providing top-quality customer service to clients, including regular reporting;

  • Developing and implementing online fundraising and communication strategies for clients email and SMS programs including calendaring, copywriting, loading, testing, segmentation, reporting, forecasting, and database maintenance;

  • Lead email and SMS production including coding, testing, segmentation, and database maintenance;

  • Build and manage weekly reports, produce recommendations, and provide insights;

  • Design, execute and report on landing page, copy, and user experience tests;

  • Manage all database work associated with list growth, including but not limited to list buys, rentals, and sends from allied organizations and entities;

  • Advise clients on industry best practices and emerging strategies;

  • Work with advertising team to produce digital revenue forecasts that outline projected revenue month-by-month;

  • Manage database as it pertains to ROI and source code reports;

  • Execute formal copy-editing process;

  • Manage client review process, including editing, redrafting, and quality-control review;

 

 

Experience we look for:

 

  • Passion for good causes, whether candidates or other;

  • 1-4 years of work experience with at least 1 campaign cycle of experience in a dedicated email fundraising role.

  • Experience using one of the following email CRMs: NGP, Everyaction, Actionkit

  • Experience working at an agency; working with or at non-profits or political/issue campaigns.

  • Basic understanding of long term lead performance tracking.

  • Experience building and executing project plans to achieve fundraising and communications goals

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

  • Excellent quantitative reasoning skills and ability to apply data to strategic decisions
