Devon's campaign for both Position 6 on the McKenzie School District #68 School Board in Finn Rock, Oregon, and Position 6 (At-Large) for the Lane Education Service District Board of Directors in Lane County, OR, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Director. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our digital strategy to build a strong online presence, engage with voters, and drive our message across various digital platforms. This role is crucial for expanding our digital footprint, managing our online campaigns, and harnessing the power of social media to mobilize support and achieve a winning margin in both elections.

Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across all online platforms, including social media, email marketing, and the campaign website.
Oversee the production of engaging digital content, including graphics, videos, and written material, that aligns with our campaign messages and goals.
Manage digital advertising campaigns, optimizing for reach and engagement while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Analyze digital campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data insights.
Lead digital fundraising efforts to support the campaign’s financial goals.
Collaborate with other campaign departments to ensure a unified message across all channels.
Engage with supporters and voters online, fostering a positive and interactive community.
Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, applying innovative approaches to benefit the campaign.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Political Science, or a related field. A degree will not be required if you have the relevant experience.
Proven experience in a digital marketing or digital campaign role, preferably within a political or advocacy campaign context.
Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, social media platforms, email marketing, and SEO/SEM.
Experience with digital analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Experience with graphic design and video editing tools.
Knowledge of political campaign strategies and voter engagement tactics.
Familiarity with the education sector and local political landscape.
