The ** Digital Director** leads the Minnesota DFL’s digital programs, distributing content and driving engagement across digital platforms. Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications, Research, and Data, the Digital Director ensures all digital efforts are data-driven, research-informed, and consistent with the party’s messaging architecture.
This role includes collaborating with the Data team on audience targeting and segmentation, developing channel strategies, running A/B testing, and providing actionable analytics. The Digital Director works closely with the Creative Director on content strategy, supports digital organizing and online fundraising efforts, and manages content creator efforts.
Lead the DFL’s digital program, planning and managing paid, earned, owned and organic communications across platforms
Run A/B tests of creative, copy, and targeting to improve performance
Monitor and optimize campaigns in real time and provide actionable analytics and reporting
Work with the Data team to strengthen targeting and segmentation
Collaborate with the Creative Director on content strategy for paid, organic, email, SMS, video, and graphic outputs
Support digital organizing efforts and online fundraising campaigns
Maintain and grow a high-quality roster of content creators and influencers, building strong relationships and coordinating efforts to broaden distribution
Build and grow an engaged and active social media audience
Stay on top of emerging platform trends
Ensure all digital outputs are consistent with party messaging strategy
