Responsibilities:

  • Pitching, drafting, and posting engaging digital content, tailored to the Congressman’s political accounts and his national leadership;

  • Designing, filming, and editing clean and captivating video content;

  • Searching for unique opportunities to engage online through media monitoring, digital analytics, and new trends;

  • Managing and updating the Congressman’s campaign branding and website;

  • Producing original graphics in line with campaign branding;

  • Coordinating with political, finance, and operations staff to plan communications strategies around endorsements, campaign events, major deadlines, and more;

  • Collaborating with endorsed candidates, campaign committees, and stakeholder organizations to support Democratic messaging and boost fellow Democrats and Democratic-aligned groups locally and nationally;

  • Building new media relationships around the country, especially through the Congressman’s leadership as a DCCC Recruitment Co-Chair;

  • Supporting traditional press needs, including quote drafts, press release drafts, and the maintenance of press lists.

Qualifications:

  • Creativity and pro-activeness to help build the Congressman’s political brand online using digital, video, and new media opportunities;

  • Skills with advanced photo and video editing programs;

  • Past experience with political campaigns or equivalent experience with a political, organizing, elected office, electoral, or issue organization;

  • Excellent organizational abilities and writing skills, including ability to create and build effective tracking systems, while balancing multiple priorities at once;

  • Self-starter, with strong written and verbal communication skills and strict attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to meet goals while working on a deadline;

  • Must be willing to travel, staff events on nights and weekends as needed, and be part of a campaign on the front lines of resisting harmful Trump Administration policies.

Hours and Compensation:

This is a full-time position, based in either Colorado or Washington, D.C., that extends beyond the November 2026 election. Candidates will be required to work nights and weekends as needed, and travel for work with the Congressman in Colorado and nationally. The salary for this position will be $6,000-8,000 per month, in addition to benefits, including health care, vision, and dental insurance, and paid leave.
