JOB DESCRIPTION

Mark Warner for Virginia is hiring a** Digital Fundraising Associate or Strategist** to help reelect Senator Mark Warner in 2026. We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented, and mission-driven team member to support and grow our grassroots fundraising and digital program. Whether you’re an early-career professional with 1–2 cycles of digital experience or a motivated newcomer eager to get started, this role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to one of the most important Senate races in the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Grassroots Fundraising and Digital Content Directors to build a creative, innovative, and data-driven digital program. 

  • Maintain and update key fundraising reports, tracking performance daily, weekly, and monthly.

  • Manage and optimize our recurring donor program, digital fundraising partnerships, and social media fundraising strategy.

  • Coordinate with our digital firm to manage the email and SMS calendar; write, review, and launch email and SMS campaigns as needed.

  • Regularly update the website, ActBlue pages, and other landing pages with fresh content.

  • Brainstorm and execute innovative tactics to drive revenue and engagement.

  • Travel across Virginia to capture photos and videos for use in digital content as needed.

  • Be available to support the campaign during evenings and weekends when needed.

Qualifications

  • Committed to reelecting Senator Mark Warner and supporting Virginia Democrats.

  • At least one cycle of experience with a campaign, digital firm, committee, or advocacy organization (internships and volunteer roles count).

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, ActBlue, and CRMs like NGP or Switchboard – or a demonstrated ability to learn new tools quickly.

  • Experience writing for digital platforms and managing large datasets in Google Sheets or Excel is a plus.

  • Creative thinker with a willingness to experiment and iterate to meet ambitious goals.
