The Opportunity

 

The ** Digital Marketing Strategist** will lead campaign implementation and client relationships. You’ll guide clients from initial strategy through launch and optimization. You’ll be the trusted partner that governments and nonprofits rely on when accuracy, timing, and public trust matter most. Areas of work include elections, civic engagement and public health.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Client Leadership & Implementation

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of omni-channel digital marketing campaigns

  • Manage senior government stakeholder relationships and serve as a trusted advisor 

  • Guide technical projects from discovery through launch, monitoring, and post-election evaluation

  • Ensure deliverables are on budget and on time.

 

Design & Develop Campaigns

  • Design and deploy SMS text campaigns

  • Write clear, accessible, and effective copy

  • Coordinate translations and accessibility best practices

  • Collaborate with clients to develop content calendars and outreach strategies

  • Monitor engagement metrics and optimize campaigns based on performance data

 

Technical & Data

  • Manage secure data transfers in compliance with security requirements

  • Configure messaging workflows and troubleshoot campaign execution issues

  • Partner with engineering and QA teams to ensure reliability during high-volume periods

 

Demos, Growth & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Run product demos and support business development conversations 

  • Translate client needs into product feedback and implementation improvements

  • Support renewals and expansion opportunities

  • Help refine implementation playbooks and best practices 

 

Qualifications

 

Required

  • 2+ years hands-on experience with SMS text campaigns

  • 2+ years experience in election campaigns with knowledge of voter file, election processes and calendar. 

  • 5+ years of account management experience at a PR or Marketing agency

  • 5+ years copywriting

  • Ability to manage sensitive data responsibly and follow structured processes

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines simultaneously

 

Preferred

  • 5+ years of account management, project management, implementation, or program management roles

  • 2+ years of web experience

  • 2+ years of social media experience
