BCom is seeking a Digital Media Intern to join our team. We are looking for a digitally-savvy student who would interface directly on our creative and web teams, helping craft digital media and environments that would be seen by thousands across the country. In addition to working directly with our creative and web team, this person’s core responsibilities will be reviewing outbound work in our quality control process.

Experience, Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidates will possess the following:
At least 1 year enrolled in digital media, design/art, advertising, marketing or related courses
A portfolio of work completed to date or relevant experience
Understands modern trends in digital media, marketing and design
Excellent task management and communication skills
Detail and team-oriented working habits
Critical thinking skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn new skills quickly
Helpful to have experience using Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud software
Primary Areas of Responsibility
The primary responsibilities of this position will be assisting our creative and web development teams in the following:
Initiating and setting up website environments
Building website layout wireframes
Editing live website content, imagery and page design/layout
Formatting visual media for digital platforms (e.g. websites, emails, social media)
Ensuring the quality of digital products through regular maintenance and client technical support
Completing quality control checks on outgoing projects across our business

Starting rate = $15/hr. All interns must have availability to work 20-30 hours per week with flexible scheduling to account for coursework and other commitments.
