New Hampshire Youth Movement is looking for a Digital Organizer to support the growth of New Hampshire Youth Movement's youth/student membership both online and offline. New Hampshire Youth Movement is a movement of young people transforming our political system so it serves, and is led by, the people it’s left behind. We are an intersectional, grassroots organization building and leveraging youth power in and outside of electoral organizing across NH.
Work closely with the rest of the Communications department to build a social media strategy to grow our following on socials, increase engagement, and convert online followers to real-life members and leaders. This will also include collaborating with the Organizing Department and building relationships with members of the organization.
Lead a special project on our socials with support from the rest of the Communications department.
Be in and create short-form video content.
Create graphics and social media content (photos and videos from our events).
Write captions for posts, basic scripts for short-form videos.
Assist our Senior Digital Organizer in running our social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter).
In key moments, be involved with organizing efforts. For example: get-out-the-vote efforts, direct actions, membership drives, college move-in days, support the development department with digital and relational fundraising, etc.
Capture photos and videos of NHYM programming events.
Maintain organizational compliance by submitting accurate timesheets, expense reports, and mileage reimbursements, adhering strictly to organizational deadlines.

The ideal candidate is or has some combination of:
Prior organizing experience through campaign, electoral, community organizing, or advocacy work
Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or other graphic design programs
On-camera experience, enthusiasm to be a face for and communicator of NHYM’s work (on-camera experience could look like: acting, influencer, etc)
Strong commitment to racial, gender, and economic justice and their intersections, both inside and outside the organization
Experience with Google Drive
Works well with others in a collaborative environment
Be able to problem solve
It would be nice if you had:
Experience using social media or digital tools to connect and organize people
Experience building a social media strategy that optimizes growth & engagement
Experience with Squarespace
Experience with YouTube/Longform content creation
Popular culture-oriented mindset
This is a ** full-time, salaried position at $50,000/year and eligible for benefits. ** This role starts between mid-May and early June. The ideal candidate lives in, or is willing to relocate to, New Hampshire. Work will be a hybrid of remote work and in-person organizing, but living in NH is a requirement. This position ends in December 2026, with an opportunity for extension based on fit and funding.
