AL Media ( www.almediastrategy.com), a fast-paced, award-winning political media firm is looking for a Digital Strategist to join our growing team. The digital strategist would be responsible for serving as the digital lead for clients, leading the digital media planning efforts and working with buyers to traffick ads in-platform, and manage day-to-day digital buying, tracking, and optimizing of ad campaigns across multiple clients. Our firm is based in Chicago, IL. This is a remote position and is open to candidates anywhere.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the digital planning and buying lead for a range of candidate and issue-group clients, making strategic recommendations in both an internal and client facing capacity.
Develop digital advertising plans across channels that meet client specific needs and drive results for persuasion and mobilization campaigns.
Work closely with digital buyers and buying associates to execute in platform on campaigns including launching, monitoring active buys to optimize performance and pacing of spend.
Delivering weekly reports to clients, including any recommendations for adjustments or additional opportunities.
Ensure campaigns are executed without error, including reconciling invoices with platform spend to ensure funds are accounted for.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in multi-channel digital advertising: Facebook, Instagram, Google Search, YouTube, DSPs and/or direct buys.
Familiarity with current and emerging trends in the digital advertising ecosystem.
Familiarity in running A/B ad tests to inform, improve, and optimize ad campaigns.
Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to present complex information to a variety of stakeholders with differing levels of digital competence.
Experience in politics, political campaigns, or government is preferred.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
