We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Account Manager. You’ll work closely with senior staff and with state and local campaigns up and down the ballot to manage their mail programs. Ideal applicants are highly detail-oriented team players and are adept project managers. This position is ideal for someone looking to break into politics or with little political experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with our staff, including writers and designers, to execute mail plans
Draft budgets and data entry
Partner with our copy-writing and graphic design teams to develop and edit mail drafts
Assist with internal administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Interested in politics and supporting Democratic candidates and causes
Has 1-3 years of work experience in politics
Basic knowledge of VAN
Has an eye for detail and is highly organized
Is an adaptable team player comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
Is a strong communicator and understands client management
Has a can do attitude and ready to dive-in work ethic
Is proficient in Google Suite, DropBox, and Adobe Acrobat
Cares about progressive causes, has an open mind, and is open to diverse perspectives
The salary range for this opportunity is $3,750-$4,750 plus a healthcare stipend and election day bonus based on experience.
Our company is fully remote, but applicants should expect to start their work day at 9am no matter where they are based. The position runs through the end of the 2024 election cycle and will be paid through November.
