**Part-Time Director of Content Management **
PARTIME (10-15hrs/wk) REMOTE OK. Prefer to start immediately
THE OPPORTUNITY:
This is a chance to create what arguably could be the one of the top three most important, biggest impact, and most urgently needed long overdue democracy and planet-saving organizing tool kit of 2026-2028. This is because it will be the first movement organizing and mobilizing platform specifically designed to offer the essential evidence-based (a’la Chenoweth, Stephan, Pinkney, et al) tools that can successfully enable the historically best proven strategy for toppling fascist governments, namely “Nat'l Nonviolent Civic Uprisings including city and statewide Social Strikes” ( NNCUSS). We specifically mean the ability to 1) catalyze moral courage at scale–for millions, 2) to recruit at least 1000 devoted mostly fulltime organizers through a much improved alternative to GoFundMe, and 3) provide a massive well funded ($3B - $5B) mutual aid system capable of sufficiently sustaining powerful effective social strikes.

The last one is already beta tested with huge success proving that moral courage can be catalyzed at scale:and therefore that resister recruitment metrics for nonviolent direct action tactics can for the first time ever be increased exponentially.
WHY this might be one of the most urgent and most essential Tech Relevant Opportunities Today:
Every historian and strategist of major social change movements will tell you that the most essential ingredient for major social change is for enough people–acritical mass–to have a sufficient level of real moral courage. 99% of philosophers and ethicists believe that moral courage is the most important of all virtues, the virtue that makes the consistent practice of the other virtues possible. So arguably _we are pioneering what would be one of the two highest best uses of technology ever. _And it’s about time, given the rapidly increas- ing fascist control of America and its accelerated ecocide of the planet. _Carl Sagan, America’s most renowned astronomer and astrophysicist perhaps said it best: _
"You are by accident of fate alive at the absolutely most critical moment
in the history of our species."
The role: We're looking for a part-time Content Manager 7-12 hrs/week) to input, manage and improve the impact of our digital content, keeping our app and publications clear, current, and aligned with our values, and helping to attract ever more users
What you'll do:
Input, improve, manage, publish, and organize content of the three apps that comprise our platform in PayloadCMS (though it might be possible to replace Payload CMS at some point
Edit and write web copy, updates, and campaign materials
Coordinate with staff and partners on content timelines (weekly meetings)
Keep content accessible, accurate, and on-message
What you bring:
Hands-on experience with PayloadCMS (or a similar headless CMS)
Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
A real commitment to democracy, economic justice, and climate justice
Comfort working independently on a flexible schedule
Strong (responsive–quick turn arounds)communication habits
Compensation: Negotiable. Being a nonprofit tech startup, it is impossible to raise funding until we can demonstrate traction. So the less you need, the better, at least for the first 2-4 months
