What We Seek:
We are seeking a strategic thinker with a passion for making a real difference in public policy. The Director of Strategy & Impact will report to the Chief Strategy and Impact Officer (CSIO) and focus on strategic planning, impact measurement,and goal setting. This position is located in one of our offices (Los Angeles, Oakland, DC, New York, El Paso, or Cleveland) and follows a hybrid schedule with two days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
Partner with CSIO on regular strategic planning, impact evaluation, and goal setting processes for firm, regions, and practice areas; while helping to determine both qualitative and quantitative metrics.
Co-design process and metrics for business development, including KPIs or milestones to measure progress.
Implement a client post-engagement process including conducting internal interviews, preparing impact reports, and developing case studies to be used internally and externally.
Implement and manage client satisfaction surveys and processes.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of Raben Alumni Network.
Support business development efforts through brand-building exercises, proposal writing, and presentation preparation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is beneficial but not required.
5-7 years of experience producing results-driven deliverables to stakeholders or clients; preferably in strategic planning, impact, political, public policy, advocacy, campaign, consulting or media fields.
Exhibited experience in strategic planning, developing and implementing metrics, and data analytics.
Demonstrated ability to design complex processes and assist stakeholders in meeting metrics.
At least 1-2 years of independent team management experience with demonstrable ability to delegate tasks and provide constructive feedback.
Strong project management experience with the ability to keep projects on time and on budget.
Exemplary oral and written communication skills.

Salary Range and Benefits:
Our salary for this role is $125,000 per year.
