Position: Pima Education Manager
Reports to: Education Director
Location: Hybrid
Salary: $55,000-$65,000

The Education Manager is responsible for coordinating educational efforts; developing and leading educational programs that meet project requirements, and building community relationships with individuals and families. They will coordinate the existing RAZE Leaders High School program in Pima County, and will help co-create Rural Arizona Advocates program for college students.
Lead initial outreach to local schools and community partners to expand the RAZE Leaders High School program and help co-create the Rural Arizona Advocates program across Pima County
Build and maintain relationships with local schools and community partners
Reach out to community leaders to participate as guest speakers for RAZE Leaders Sessions and Rural Arizona Advocates Sessions
Facilitate program sessions for high school and college students
Coordinate program plans with guest speakers as needed
Work with fellow staff to plan and coordinate in-person and virtual sessions including logistics for venues, food, and schedules
Pick up, transport, and drop off students for sessions as needed
Pick up, set up, and clean up food for sessions as needed
Conduct and review regular program evaluations to collect feedback from participants and ensure continued improvements in the program
Manage inventory and distribution of all training materials within budget guidelines
Track and Monitor program spending within budget guidelines in our Expense Management System
Schedule & Transportation:
Access to reliable transportation and ability to use the transportation to transport students
Ability to work on Saturdays as needed for Program Sessions

Aptitude for being self-directed to concurrently manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks and work effectively.
Can take initiative and can also ask for support whenever needed.

Training & Communication:
Current valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) card or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of employment
Ability to communicate, train, and work with diverse groups of people in an engaging and understanding way.
Can develop innovative educational curriculums and train people with diverse opinions, interests, and skill levels.
Experience in education

Experience living and working in rural communities
