**What is an Election Researcher? **Researchers get paid to apply their knowledge and passion for policy to write concise, accurate, non-biased summaries of candidates' beliefs and platforms around key issues. For some of the larger statewide races, this work is viewed by tens of thousands of voters. You can see a sample candidate profile here.
What is the time commitment?
Researchers are asked to commit at least 10 hours of work per week. Although the exact amount can vary depending on the amount of work available. This work will take place as soon as you start and will consist of researching candidates for the general elections happening across the US.
Specific working hours and schedules are very flexible. Researchers can choose when to profile their candidates.
There will be mandatory training once you are brought on board.
This is a contract position with an hourly rate.
