JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities

  • Work directly with all members of the finance team to plan and execute fundraising events from start to finish

  • Coordinate logistics for events: prospect and recruit event hosts, guide event hosts, and ensure strong communication between guests, raisers, and hosts

  • Develop thorough prospecting lists and build events through personal outreach, including call time and emails 

  • Work closely with the finance team to set event goals and monitor event progress & RSVPs

  • Provide transportation and staffing for the candidate for fundraisers, meetings, and general campaign events

  • Create event briefings and other pertinent materials for raisers, events, and meetings

  • Assist with the donor acknowledgement process, including timely follow up with event hosts

  • Assist with campaign finance compliance processes: in-kind contribution forms, campaign receipts, and general record keeping in accordance with campaign finance laws

  • Help manage finance interns and volunteers

  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience planning, executing, and staffing virtual and in-person events

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work a busy and varied schedule, including nights and weekends

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

  • Experience with NGP, ActBlue, and Google office products is preferred

 

 

Compensation 

Salary is commensurate with experience and range begins at $4,500/month – with opportunities to grow upon quarterly reviews.
