Sean McCann for Congress is looking for a full-time Events Manager to join our finance team. The Events Manager would report directly to the Finance Director.
Responsibilities:
Identify potential hosts and working with existing hosts to execute successful fundraising in-state events and meet and greets for campaign
Maintain relationships with the event donors
Oversee production plans for all event-related materials, including event collateral, electronic design templates, event acknowledgements, printed materials, and event memos
Ensure that all event data is accurately recorded in event tracker
Expand the campaign network through strategic events and targeting
Assist finance team and campaign with other tasks as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Detail oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of wide-ranging responsibilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities at once, meet key deadlines, and work in fast-paced environment
Ability to work weekends and nights as needed
Proficiency in NGP and G-Suite applications
At least one cycle of fundraising experience preferred, but not required
Past experience managing candidate call time and staffing a candidate is preferred but not required.
