Job Description:
Blake Gendebien is searching for applicants for a highly competitive, well-funded House race. This role offers significant room for leadership and career growth over the course of the election.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with one or more cycles of finance experience to take the next step in their career and join a race that has already raised nearly $6 million.
The Events Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the in-district events program and working with the Finance Director on national events, including identifying hosts, managing donor relations, coordinating logistics, developing materials, tracking events data, and more. A successful Events Manager will work with the team to build out a robust events schedule that exceeds projected goals and expands the campaign’s network.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Identify potential hosts and work with existing hosts to build and execute successful fundraising events
Build and maintain relationships with donors and assist with donor communications
Work with the Finance team to design and manage all materials for fundraising events, send invitations and thank yous, staff events, and exceed finance goals
Ensure all event data is accurately recorded in event trackers and reported regularly
Assist the Finance team and campaign with other tasks as needed
Qualifications include:

Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
A valid US driver’s license and access to reliable, insured transportation
Preferred: 1+ cycles of fundraising experience, personal familiarity with NY-21, knowledge of NGP, ActBlue, & Google Drive
