Hickenlooper for Colorado is seeking a Denver based Events Manager to join our team. This role will be a key part of our finance team, working with the Finance Director to execute a successful Colorado Events Program. This position is through November 2026.
The ideal candidate has previous campaign fundraising experience, strong time and organizational management skills, and is a team player. Other important skills are strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Build out an aggressive Colorado events and meeting schedule
Manage individual event trackers for all Colorado events
Manage relationships with Colorado donors and event hosts
Create event invitations and Actblue pages
Prospect new donors for call time and hosting
Staff campaign events as needed, including on evenings and weekends
Travel across Colorado for events
Qualifications:
Must be located or willing to relocate to Denver, CO
Access to a cell phone and laptop
Access to a car or reliable transportation
At least one cycle of previous campaign experience in a finance position
Experience working with NGP, ActBlue, and Canva preferred
