The Josh Stein for North Carolina Committee is looking to hire a full-time Finance Events Manager. The committee is seeking hard-working, self-motivated individuals to join its Raleigh, North Carolina-based team.
Josh Stein ran for Governor to build a safer, stronger North Carolina. In 2024, he won a historic victory and wants to continue his work towards keeping families safe, defend our rights, and build a state where your background never limits how far you can go.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated interest in politics and Democratic campaigns
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated team player
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Access to reliable transportation (and a valid driver's license)
Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite
One cycle of events or campaign finance experience
Responsibilities:
Working with finance team to meet fundraising goals, including supervising finance assistant(s) and intern(s)
Staffing fundraising events and meetings
Building fundraising events from start to finish, including identifying hosts; building outreach lists for call time, phone, and email outreach; creating invitations; and executing follow up
Cultivating donor support to grow their investment in the campaign, raise from their networks, host events, etc.
Conducting donor research to identify new prospective donors and update donor records
Assisting with other campaign-related activities as needed

Salary band for this position is set at $5,500/month. Employer Paid Group Medical, Hospital, and Rx Insurance provided through Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC.
