About NRAF: The National Redistricting Action Fund (NRAF) is the 501(c)(4) affiliate of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee. The mission of the NRAF is to harness the power of people and the courts to dismantle unfair electoral maps and create a redistricting system based on democratic values. The National Redistricting Action Fund (NRAF) wants you! NRAF & Affiliates is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized coordinator to support the Executive Director in their mission to create fair districts. As part of the team, you'll help with travel arrangements, administrative duties, and meeting preparation, as well as take on special projects as they arise. Responsibilities:

  • Support the Executive team with various administrative responsibilities, including coordinating travel and scheduling 

  • Prepare memos and other materials for internal and external meetings 

  • Implement workflow systems around inter-department communication

  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects, from drafting to final implementation

  • Assist in the general administration of the office

  • Other duties as needed

Preferred:

  • Experience with scheduling and travel booking 

  • Experience as a support staff in a high paced team-oriented environment 

  • Experience with grassroots organizing or working on a campaign 

 

Other Info: 

  • Location: Washington, DC preferred. While NDRC & Affiliates staff are fully remote, this position is tasked with assisting in the management of the organization’s physical DC office and should expect to be present for office management needs and to prepare for staff meetings, outside meetings, and vendor support

  • Some national travel and attendance at  staff retreats is expected

  • Salary for this position is $56,175

  • Benefits include paid time off, immediate access to the organization’s 401(k) program with a 4% match, health care, dental and vision coverage, along with a stipend for cell phone use

  • Interviews will happen on a rolling basis with preferred start date of early May
