JOB DESCRIPTION

Bethany Andres-Beck is a software engineer running for Congress to take back the government for the people and fight Republican corruption.

 

Beth announced their campaign for Congress in Massachusetts’ 6th District even before it became an open primary, because Beth believes in protecting the people of the North Shore and reestablishing a federal government that’ll work to help the people, not the politicians and their mega-donors. Now we’re looking for Fellows **** to help power a people-first movement.

 

Position Overview

Fellows **** will be responsible for conducting direct voter contact through door to door canvassing and phonebanking and organizing left wing campus organization to support Beth

Working with the Deputy Field Director, fellows will conduct outreach throughout the district by speaking to voters and recruiting volunteers. Fellows will set their own schedule to meet weekly direct voter contact goals by working with the Deputy Field Director.

Fellows also will organize their campuses to grow support for Beth among students and plan events like canvasses with left wing student groups. Additionally fellows will help staff events like canvasses, rallies, and town halls as needed

  • Conduct relational organizing to recruit student volunteers and engage progressive student organizations to support the campaign

  • Assist in planning and staffing campus events such as canvass launches, rallies, and town halls

  • Attend and staff campaign events like canvasses, rallies, and town halls with professionalism

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to try new things

  • The ability to follow instructions and finish tasks in a timely fashion

  • Ability to conduct themselves professionally as a representative of the campaign

  • A passion for progressives causes and a desire to elect leftists

  • A willingness to work in an office with staff and speak with voters throughout the district 

  • A car and a valid driver’s license is preferred
