Role Description: The Field Director will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive strategy for voter persuasion, mobilization, and engagement. They will manage a team of field organizers, interns, and volunteers – monitoring progress, conducting training, and directing daily operations.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a field plan that provides clear benchmarks for recruitment and voter contacts.
Hire and train a team of field organizers in critical skill areas.
Oversee daily operations, including volunteer recruitment, phonebanks, canvass launches, turf cutting, visibility, and other key activities.
Manage the campaign’s voter contact and volunteer data and records.
Communicate regularly with the Campaign Manager to report daily results and troubleshoot challenges.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years experience in field organizing or other relevant campaign work.
Strong familiarity with voter contact platforms (VAN, Mobilize, etc.) and ability to train staff.
Strong organizational skills and a talent for multitasking.
Ability to work from the Flushing, Queens campaign office and maintain flexible working hours. Access to a car is required.
Multilingual skills are a plus.

Salary Range: $5,500 - $7,500 a month, commensurate with experience.
