The Idaho Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign is hiring a full-time statewide Coordinated Campaign Field Director for the 2024 cycle. This is a senior-level position for an experienced operative who will be managing multiple layers of staff and running the most ambitious field program the Idaho Democratic Party has run in our state. The Field Director will report directly to the IDP Executive Director for the duration of the 2024 cycle. This position is based in Boise, Idaho. This position is a temporary position that runs from May 2024 - November 2024. The Field Director will oversee the Idaho Democratic Party Coordinated field effort, which is focused on expanding the Idaho Democratic Party base and turning out Democratic voters in the 2024 election
Roles/Duties: ● Design and implement a statewide field plan. ● Recruit, train, and manage field organizers. ● Develop and implement field tactics such as constituency organizing and paid relational programs. ● Create staff and volunteer training materials. ● Create aspirational goals and coach organizers to success. ● Develop appropriate metrics and manage systems of accountability for staff and volunteers. ● Collaborate with and facilitate communication between field teams from partner campaigns and coordinated campaign offices. ● Facilitate communication between the field team and other departments in the IDP. ● Analyze data and modeling to create and track progress in voter contact universes. ● Leverage innovative voter contact tools and integrate them into the field plan. ● Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor, Executive Director, or IDP Chair. Job Requirements: ● At least two cycles of field organizing (volunteer recruitment, phone banking, door knocking, etc.) one in a leadership role ● Expertise using Votebuilder and Google tools ● Proficiency with MobilizeAmerica, and Hustle ● Experience managing at least five employees/organizers ● Strong oral and written communication skills ● Extremely organized and detail-oriented, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines ● Must be willing to work long hours ● Sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities ● Reliable transportation for travel around the state. ● A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
