JOB DESCRIPTION: FIELD DIRECTOR
Dr. Mariah Lancaster for Congress (MA-06) is seeking a** Field Director** for the 2026 election cycle to oversee the campaign’s direct voter contact efforts. The Field Director must be friendly, energetic, and patient, with superior interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. The Field Director must be based in Massachusetts and able to report to HQ in Salem, MA.
Craft and execute the campaign’s field plan and adapt strategies based on data feedback.
Recruit, train, and manage field staff, interns, and volunteers.
Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, supporters, and local organizations.
Prioritize and cut turf, manage turf assignments, and ensure data accuracy and timely reporting of field metrics.
Plan and execute voter engagement events (e.g. canvasses, meet and greets, roundtables, etc.)
Other duties as assigned, which may grow over the course of the cycle depending on the campaign’s needs and the staffer’s demonstrated strengths.
At least one cycle of experience as a paid field staffer on a campaign.
Strong command of campaign tools such as Votebuilder, MiniVAN, Mobilize, Scale to Win, Excel, and Google Sheets.
Commitment to the candidate’s progressive campaign platform.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail.
Willingness to work weekends and evenings in a fast-paced campaign environment.
Applicants must have a driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.
Salary starts at $5,000/month, commensurate with experience.
Health insurance stipend up to $400, if needed.
