About the Campaign
Rep. Carol Glanville’s campaign for Michigan State Senate District 30 is seeking a full-time Field
Director. This is a top-tier race in Michigan – a highly competitive seat won by a 400-vote margin in
2022, and the only Senate district won by Kamala Harris that is currently represented by a Republican.
This race will have the attention of the entire state. The best applicants will thrive in fast-paced
environments and be excellent communicators and problem solvers. Knowledge of local and Michigan
politics is a plus.
Position Summary
The Field Director will own the campaign's ground game from launch through Election Day. This is a
senior role responsible for strategy, execution, and results. You will help build the field plan, lead the
team, and be accountable for voter contact goals across the entire district.
Responsibilities
● Design and execute a comprehensive field plan through Election Day
● Build and manage canvassing and phone banking programs at scale
● Recruit, train, and develop volunteer teams and precinct-level leadership
● Own VoteBuilder: targeting, turf cutting, data hygiene, and reporting
● Set weekly voter contact goals and hold yourself and your team accountable to them
● Report progress and adapt strategy based on data and ground conditions
● Coordinate with campaign leadership, the party, and allied organizations
Qualifications
● 1+ cycle of campaign field experience preferred
● Michigan ties are strongly preferred
● Proficiency in VoteBuilder required
● Proven ability to recruit and manage volunteers at scale
● Strong communicator with disciplined organizational habits
● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation as well as a phone and laptop
Compensation
$4,000 - $5,000 per month
