Nevada Senate Democrats are seeking a Field Director to assist in building a program to protect our majority in 2026. The Field Director is responsible for working with individual State Senate campaigns to develop a field program, build a volunteer organization, and manage paid canvass operations. The position will run through December 2026 and is based in Clark County (Las Vegas).
Responsibilities include:
● Drafting and leading the execution of field plans that include incumbent protection and targeted GOP-held seats
● Assisting in the management of staff
● Facilitating the training and development of field staff
● Managing a paid canvass operation
● Recruiting and engaging volunteers
● Maintaining relationships with partner organizations
● Ensuring that all metrics related to field activities are properly tracked
● Other assigned duties
Qualifications and Skills:
● At least two cycles of field experience on issue or electoral campaigns, with one cycle managing staff
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Good time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
● Extensive experience with Votebuilder
● Willing to work campaign hours, including nights and weekends and travel as needed
● Positive attitude and ability to motivate staff members
● Committed to details, results, meeting goals, and tracking/using data to inform decisions
● Ability to approach problem-solving with creativity
● Nevada ties a plus, but it is not required
This position reports directly to the Executive Director. The identified pay range for this position is between $6,000 and $8,000 per month plus health care, vision, and dental benefits.
