There is a** strong preference for candidates with prior New York experience.**

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Coordination

Labor & Organizational Field Operations

  • Work directly with ** union political directors** and staff to structure and track member-to-member programs

  • Coordinate with ** county committees & Democratic clubs** to ensure voter contact is aligned with campaign universes and timelines.

Staff Management & Support

  • Provide training and technical assistance to staff and partner organizations on best practices for data, targeting, and voter contact.

  • Create clear lines of communication so that problems in the field get escalated and resolved quickly.

Integration with Campaign Infrastructure

  • Work with the ** Political Director** to turn political relationships into real field capacity and coverage.

  • Coordinate with the ** Communications team** to reinforce key messages at the doors, on the phones, and in member communications.

  • Provide the ** Campaign Manager and senior staff** with regular assessments of progress toward goals

GOTV & Election Operations

  • Lead planning and execution of ** GOTV in partnership with labor and Democratic organizations**.

  • Coordinate early vote and absentee chase programs, ensuring partners are working from correct lists and tracking results in VAN.

Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • 3+ cycles of campaign experience, including at least one in a senior field or organizing leadership role

  • Demonstrated experience ** working with labor unions, party committees, or large allied organizations**

  • Experience managing staff and navigating complicated multi-organization dynamics.

  • Willingness to work long, irregular hours and travel frequently within New York State.

Additional Skills

  • Good political judgment and the ability to prioritize what actually moves votes.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Salary: $8,000–$10,000 per month, depending on experience.

  • Classification: Full-time, exempt, cycle-based position.

  • Timeline: Start date as soon as possible; position runs through Election Day 2026.
