The Field Director will lead with a vision of long-term power-building and collective action to power our campaign work, support local organizing, mentor organizers, and develop processes and tools to engage members. The ideal candidate will understand grassroots organizing and have experience in working with base-building organizations and leading grassroots campaigns. The salary range for this position is $4,500-$5,500 per month. This is a full-time, salaried, cycle-based position located in Williamson County, Texas, and will require regular travel and a willingness to work non-traditional hours as needed.
Field and Voter Contact Management
Recruit, manage, and train volunteers to participate in direct voter contact; including but not limited to door-to-door canvassing, recruitment calls, and relational organizing
Coordinating community outreach efforts and events to maximize voter engagement
Implementing data-driven strategies for voter contact and persuasion
Recruiting, training, and supervising field staff, volunteers, and canvassers
Weekly canvassing goals
Developing and executing a comprehensive canvassing plan to reach target populations
Utilizing rich text and media elements to create persuasive campaign materials
Collaborating with the campaign manager to set goals and strategies
Maintaining accurate records and databases for tracking campaign progress
Monitoring and analyzing campaign metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly
Ensuring compliance with election laws and regulations in field operations
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Supervise political staff, interns, and volunteers.
Collaborate closely with the Campaign Manager and senior team to align political engagement and operations with overall campaign strategy.
Incorporate volunteers into campaign operations and political outreach by creating clear roles, providing necessary training and resources, and fostering a sense of ownership that keeps them engaged throughout the campaign.

Experience
1+ years of experience in political campaigns, government, or advocacy organizations.
Proven track record in political relationship management and statewide operations.
Strong understanding of the current political landscape, voter demographics, and willingness to learn or know regional priorities.
Experience managing staff and volunteers in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
Prior experience writing and executing a field plan, which includes small-dollar events, relational, and digital organizing
