JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Tasks and Responsibilities 

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive field strategy that includes voter identification, persuasion, and turnout operations.

  • Recruit, train, and oversee a team of campaign staff and volunteers, ensuring they are effectively mobilized and equipped to carry out the campaign's objectives.

  • Oversee the execution of door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, text banking, and other voter contact efforts to educate and engage the electorate.

  • Plan and execute campaign events, rallies, and other grassroots activities to build momentum and visibility for the campaign.

  • Utilize campaign data tools and technology to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize field operations.

  • Work closely with the Campaign Manager, and Communications Team  and other team members to ensure a unified and coordinated approach across all aspects of the campaign.

  • Build and maintain relationships with local community leaders, organizations, and Democratic Party officials to bolster support and foster partnerships.

  • Oversee the field campaign budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to achieve campaign goals.

  • Ensure all field operations comply with federal, state, and local campaign finance laws and regulations.

     

 

Job Requirements 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends 

  • At least one cycle of Field leadership experience

  • A strong understanding of Votebuilder, Google Suite, and digital organizing tools. 

  • Ability to work independently and as a cohesive member of a team in a fast paced,

metrics-driven work environment    

  • Ability to track and report data in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner 

  • Great organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail 

  • Must have access to a vehicle, valid driver's license, computer, cell phone and be willing to relocate to Florida

  • Conversational in Spanish. 

  • Ties to or experience working or organizing in central Florida.

  • Experience organizing in diverse communities. 

  • Experience managing staff or interns and volunteers.
